George sent me an email this morning with the latest "Kayla news":
Kayla and a girl named Daniella held has walking to class this morning... I was in the lobby and a woman and her daughter were there as well. The daughter, Daniella, told her mom she was in the same class as Kayla so we suggested that they walk to class together and hold hands. They did happily and Kayla didn't look back at all. Hopefully Kayla has made a friend (who is much taller than she is)...
it was a cute scene. Before Daniella saw us, Kayla gave me a huge hug and initially wouldn't let go. Daniella's mom approached us right after I put her down. Kayla knew who she was b/c she smiled and agreed to walk with her (she didn't have that unsure look on her face that she usually does when she's shy).
