Snowpocalypse 2010

The DC metro area got hit with TONS of snow. Even for Mr. Yooper, who is dreading the fact that the National Weather Service is calling for even more snow Tuesday night (10-20 inches)! I like to poke fun at people down here for not knowing how to treat the roads, not knowing how to plow the roads and scariest of all, people who don't know how to drive in the snow yet insist on doing it anyway. My MAHW (that's Most Awesome Husband in the World) enduring three grueling rounds of snow shoveling. He says that even up in the Upper Peninsula, they typically don't get dumped on with 20+ inches in one storm. I wish I had more photos of just how much snow we actually got. It was quite the sight to see. I should try to remember to take pictures of the beautiful yet lethal icicles that have formed on our house.

I think the snow is shoulder-height on Kayla. And poor Jocelyn was rendered completely immobile when I sat her down in the snow.

Kayla had a blast sledding again. MAWH shoveled a path from our front step to the side yard so she wouldn't sink or get lost in all that snow.

G: Are you taking a break? How's your butt?
K: Very coldy!
G: Is your butt freezing?

G: Alright, are you ready to go up and take another sled ride down?
K: Um... Um... I-I-I too breaking right now.
G: You're too breaking?
K: As she gets up and starts walking up the hill Maybe tomorrow I have to go to sled.
