When the weather is nice out and I feel motivated enough, I put Jocelyn in the Peg Perego stroller and we walk over to Kayla's day care to pick her up. I then stick Jocelyn in the baby sling and strap Kayla into the stroller and we walk home. This afternoon, I told Kayla that we were going somewhere special for dinner.
Me: Kayla, guess what? We're going to McDonald's for dinner!
Kayla: enthusiastically Uh-huh!
Me: Kayla, you probably don't even know what McDonald's is.
Kayla: singing Eeee-eye-eeee-eye-oh!!

ReplyDeletewas she disappointed that is was an ol'burger joint and not a cool farm with animals? :) mimi called that place "Old Macdonald's" as in 'mom, can we go eat at Old Macdonalds?' for the longest time. maybe that is part of the allure of that place! kayla is very cute. did she enjoy her dinner?
ReplyDeleteYes, Kayla proceeded to eat 7 chicken nuggets and fries and ice cream. I believe she was very happy! :)
