Kayla Says

Kayla has been pretty good about naming her colors and shapes. Her words are not always intelligible to everyone though! I love the way she says "rectangle" and "triangle" and I almost don't want her to ever learn how to say it correctly.



All day long I hear "rectangolo! triangolo!" in my head. :)

Kayla has also suddenly picked up the phrase "Oh yeah, sure" or "Okay, sure." Although when she says it, it sounds more like "ohyahshure" and "akayshure." She also said "okie dokie!" randomly as she was walking up the front steps yesterday after getting back from day care.

Most people who know George know that he can do a Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget voice. He's been trying to scare Kayla with it (unsuccessfully, I might add, because she just looks at him and cracks up). Tonight after dinner, he tried the Dr. Claw voice on her. Not getting any reaction from her (she was too preoccupied with coloring) he asked, "Kayla, where's your scary voice?" Kayla quietly mutters "Uh oh," turns around, walks out of the living room and into the office, looking for her scary voice.
