I don't know if the temperature changes have anything to do with everyone getting sick, but it seems that kids and adults alike are getting sick right now! Jocelyn came down with a super high fever of 104 on Friday night. By Sunday night, we went back to urgent care for a second visit, got the chest x-rays done and she was diagnosed with pneumonia. Kayla was fine, but not for long... she went to school fine Monday and Tuesday morning but this afternoon, preschool called to say she had a fever too!
Due to the fact that Jocelyn is constantly coughing, she and Kayla have been sleeping in separate rooms pretty much since Friday night. Tonight we tried to get Jocelyn to sleep in her crib since the humidifier is right next to it. Kayla and George were going to sleep down on the main level in the guest bedroom. George warned Kayla that he had some work to get done so that she should go to sleep first. She agreed. Two hours later, she emerged from the room, groggily approached George in the office, and said, "Daddy, I just want to remind you that I'm sleeping down here. So if you go upstairs to sleep, that would be a mistake. Don't forget, okay?"
