How time flies! This year, Kayla was able to enjoy many more of the activities at the Pumpkin Playground. Her favorite was the giant slide (in an adult's lap, of course). At first she didn't quite know what to make of it but after the third trip down, Kayla started signing and saying "More?" every time she reached the bottom of the slide.
Her second favorite activity of the day was probably a tie between the playground spinner and playing with the straw on the ground with a baby from her day care.

Okay, scratch that, considering she was playing with the hay for at least half an hour, that was probably her favorite. Kayla and Matthew squawked at each other a lot (and I think Matthew was munching on the straw as he scooted around on his belly). George had a hard time coaxing Kayla to get up and abandon the straw so we could head home.
We're looking forward to bringing Kayla back again next year with her little sister (but not looking forward to probably spending extra $$ for the face painting, balloon-animals or wobbly wagon ride).
And so we end this post with some smashing pumpkins:

Seriously, as soon as I turned off the camera she threw her pumpkin on the ground and the stem broke off and it had a huge bruise on its side... so we had to desert it in the parking lot. Miss Kayla was not happy about that!
she is too cute...she looks older but not much taller?
