Kayla went apple picking on Saturday and had a blast riding in the wheelbarrow! Here she is munching on some apple and helping us put our apples in the basket. (Needless to say, we have quite a few bruised apples which we are trying to eat up this week!)
Kayla also enjoyed pushing the wheelbarrow and got upset if she lost her grip on the handles:
In fact, she enjoyed pushing the wheelbarrow so much that when I was at Babies R Us the next day, I bought her one of those toy vacuum poppers and an umbrella stroller for her baby doll. She does laps around the kitchen/dining/living rooms with her popper and tried dragging it upstairs with her when I told her it was time for a bath. The stroller is downstairs in the basement and she loves to push that around too while she watches Wonder Pets on TV. We are hoping that these are signs that Kayla will be a good older sister!
