The girls have started thinking about what they want for Christmas. Bikes with training wheels are up high on the list. Kayla saw the Target holiday toy catalog that came with the newspaper this past weekend and asked if she could look through it. She stopped on the page with the bicycle with training wheels, pointed to it and said, "Mommy, I want THIS for Christmas!"
Yesterday, Kayla and George had the following conversation:
K: Daddy, can I get a bike for Christmas?
G: Maybe.
K: Someday, I want my own motorcycle, too. Pause. And you can teach me how to ride it!! You can teach me how to ride a motorcycle AND drive a car!!
Wow, K, you certainly are growing up fast ;). Have you considered a balance bike instead of one with training wheels? I hear they help kids learn to balance much faster than bikes with training wheels. I am considering one.
