Rings for your ears

Kayla and George were playing together this evening. She was looking at George's ears and asked him, "What's that daddy? What's in there?" "Ear drums," he responded. "You have ear drums, too." "Oh," Kayla said emphatically. George followed up and said, "You should look at mommy's ears... she has earrings." "Earrings?" Kayla asked. "Yes, earrings," George answered back... "Do you know what earrings are?" Kayla replied, "Yeah, they're rings for ears."
