in a phone conversation with Grandpa Huang:
Kayla: Daddy saw someone try to take the jaguar off the Jaguar!

Me: Jocelyn, who's your daddy?
J: Ummm... Da-da!
Me: That's right! Who's Mommy's daddy?
J: Ummm... Meee-ya! (me)
Me: No...
J: Ummm.... Peicha!

While brushing their teeth at bedtime...
Kayla: Look, Mommy. My toothpaste looks like a mustache on the toothbrush!
Me: Oh, it does kinda look like a mustache. Do you know anyone with a mustache?
Jocie: Ma-ma!!
Me: No...
Kayla: Daddy!
Me: No...
Jocie: Mee-ya!
Me, exasperated: No, it's Mark! Mark has a mustache!!!
I got blank stares from both girls.
