Daddy's Girl?

George has been slowly converting Jocie into a Daddy's girl. Lately, whenever she's clingy, she's been seeking out Daddy. Yesterday was no exception. So while George was on potty duty (yes, you read that correctly, Jocelyn is diaper-free during her awake-hours, woo hoo!!!) he had a very interesting conversation with her that went something like this:

G: Jocelyn, are you Daddy's girl?

J: Shakes head vigorously, No.

G: Well then, are you Mommy's girl?

J: Shakes head vigorously, No.

G: Are you Jie-Jie (Kayla)'s girl?

J: Shakes head vigorously, No.

G: Whose girl are you then?

J: Ai-Ai. (aka Auntie Melissa)

G: Asking again, just to make sure he heard correctly, Are you Ai-Yi's girl?

J: Nods head emphatically.

There you go, Ai-Ai! Aren't you lucky? It wasn't a fluke, either. Later that night at bath time we asked her again, Are you Daddy's girl? She shook her head no and said, "Ai-Ai."
